Recent Activities

So quite a few bothers have been caused by Bramble since I last wrote.  He has since taken a liking to my bed and now makes it his routine to jump on my face in the morning, dig his claws into my skin until I move and then take up my spot in the bed (with a smug look on his face - as you can see).

Thankfully his obsession with my wardrobe has passed following an evening when he knocked something off my window sill on route to the wardrobe. At the same time I rose from picking up the pieces Bramble decided to jump leading to a human-cat headbutt. I'm not sure who was more stunned, but Bramble was soon over it and asking for food again..

Well that is all to report for now, thanks for reading and until next bother, goodbye!

Cat and the cacti

Morning blogging world!

And hello from myself and Bramble, the cat that finds new ways to wind me up every single day and the reason I am here.

So you may be thinking why are you posting at this ridiculous O'clock in the morning? (6.30am) Well I've been thinking about writing a blog for about a week now to share with the world the wonders of my cat and his annoying antics.
And it wasn't until this morning I was pushed to the edge of the non-blogging world.

So I wake up to a loud bang and clothes hanger shake..Bramble has emerged from my wardrobe, the exact wardrobe I put a 'barrier' up last night in order to 'stop' cats from getting in. I quickly look around my room - no damage to ornaments/items on window ledges etc so all is good.  Or would have been if Bramble hadn't sensed I was awake and didn't start his classic loud siren meeeeeow.
This in Bramble language means hello, feed me!

I think to myself maybe I'll just get up, let the dogs out and feed the cat.  I do it and all is well..until, that is, Bramble finishes his breakfast, jumps up onto the kitchen side, spots a moth, attacks said moth and lands in my newly planted baby cacti which consequently go everywhere and the moth dies. Just brilliant.
This wouldn't be such a cleshay either if I hadn't just come back from a conservation trip in which I'd been conserving moths and butterflies!

But anywho the day is young and i'm sure Bramble has many other mischiefs up his furry feet so ttfn and blog you soon,
Meegan :)
